Honestly, this album is class. Being such a huge Green Day fan for such a long time, this album is the best by far. This is probably because its their greatist hits album. Since it came out before the American Idiot album, you wont get the relesed songs from it like American Idiot, Holiday and Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Its a good album, very sketchy though. When listening to the album, you feel its all just been thrown together in any order. This is a down side, but apart from that, its class.
I recomend that you buy this album ASAP. Ok, yeah, its old. But still a class album. If you dont get what im saying, theres something wrong with you. If you dont own this album, BUY IT!!!!

To put it simply, this is a collection of songs from the best pop punk band ever. They started it, and other bands ruined it. Whether you agree with me or not that pop punk has become monotonous and just plain bad, we can probably both agree that Green Day rocks. They blend raw punk rock, pop, and anything else they can throw in there to create musical masterpiece. Although International Superhits lacks the flow of Dookie or Nimrod, the songs are great, and you can hear the musical maturity from Basket Case all the way to Minority. The first two tracks are new fresh tracks (2001) (Maria, Poprocks & Coke), that are not as good as the others, but open the CD nicely. Then we move straight to Green Day's prime, Dookie. We start with the teenage guy anthem of the early ninties, Longview, and walk all the way to the great song, She. Other highlight songs are Hitchin' a Ride, Good Riddance, Minority, Waiting, and the CD ends very nicely with a poppy ballad similar but (in my opinion) better than Good Riddance. If you are looking for your first GD CD, try Dookie or AI. But if you are an old GD fan, this is a super deeduper terrific CD to own.
