Green Day are now a well known band following there latest realease WARNING but this album is from 1990 and is a very different style to what they play now. Watch out for the tracks At The Library, Paper Lanterns, Going To Pasquala and Green Day, which is a song about hanging out and smoking pot.

Green Day at this time is the same line up but with a different drummer whos name is John (thats all it says) Billie Joe pumps out crazy power chord proggresions and Mike has got bass fills that he still has today. Like now it is very much set around the bassline. I give this album *** 3 stars but is a must for any hardcore green day fan - like me!

This Is the best c.d. Green Day has ever made. The songs are harder and more punk than any of their other cd's which I don't think, maybe other than Kerplunk+ Insomniac, are punk. I play bass so I know how cool the bass sounds first hand and Billie Joe hits some nice solos. The Drummer(John Kriftmyer-right on the cover stupid) is maybe better than Tre.
