DOWN WITH LOVE
                                ( from Slow Love )

This arrangement of 'Down With Love' is constructed
predominately with right hand quartal harmonies and
the 7+9 triad both played over various bass notes.
The quartal chords appearing here all are formed
with the tonic note at the bottom, followed by two
stacked fourths. For example a CQ would be comprised
of the notes C-F-Bb. This chord could also be
referred to as C7sus4no5, but for purposes of space
 restriction, referring
to it simply with a 'Q' is much simpler.

The right hand '7+9' formations that appear
in this selection are all formed with the third
at the bottom, followed by the seventh, then the
augmented ninth again the fifth is omitted.
A D7+9 therefore
would be formed with the notes F# -C-F.

Any 7+9 chord that appears in this selection
which has a non-tonic bass note, eg.
D7+7/A would be played simply as F#-C-F in
the right hand over an A bass note. The D note
is then omitted from this chord entirely.
In the event where it is simply referred to
as a D7+9 then of course the D bass note
would be played.
