Burned out from the last week
Waiting and waiting to find what I need
I'm sitting, I'm watching and I'm thinking
Took a shower today, many reasons to stay clean
I wake up and see the light
Trough the window a child smiles
Too good to turn away
My way is good, I get so wound up
I'm not alone, look around at home
I can sleep soon, I dare to dream
Weight drags me down
I watch it on tonight's news
It's Friday and why am I still worrying?
It burns my skin when I get in
