Sometimes I almost forget these weary bones. 

Watching children play in the park 

Under these old familiar trees. 

They help me feel the glow of my youth. 

So many years have fallen between that boy 

And this ghost I am to you.

Where the sunlight cast upon the world 

dims on the inside. 

And all the pieces that once made up who you are

Summer is over and now I feel it in my bones.
