Actually, the chords are the same on both versions, but the "X-Files" version is, in my personal opinion, a better song. It has more of a drum line and just sounds more complete. It's like the "Colour" version wasn't quite complete when the album came out last May. Anyway, here here it is, the first draft of the new Foo Fighters single, "Walking After You," from "The X-Files" motion picture soundtrack: "Walking After You" by Foo Fighters transcribed by Ryan Swartz (Used39@hotmail.com) edited by Frederick E. Grinder III (grinderf@adelphia.net) Verse: E G#min A A#dim A B7add4 Chorus: A#dim B7add4 E Bridge ("...another heart is cracked, in two, i'm on your back..."): E C#min A F# Chords: E 0 G#min 4 A 5 A#dim 6 B7add4 0 C#min 4 F# 2 0 4 5 5 0 5 2 1 4 6 6 2 6 3 2 6 7 8 1 6 4 2 6 7 x 2 4 4 0 4 5 6 x x 2 The A#dim is a bit tough to stretch to. If you have a problem doing it, just leave out the '8' and it sounds (almost) just as good.
