Well I sure do love the summer and I don’t mind the autumn rain
And I just can’t wait for the spring to come to me again
When winter is coming round the bend I stay in bed don’t see my friends
I guess I don’t like Christmas all that much

Don’t want the turkey on the table I wanna eat my salad in my socks
No gluhwein in my jar I’ll have a whiskey on the rocks

It’s not that I don’t like the snow, might I say it’s kind of funny though
At Christmas everyone starts being nice
It’s strange we need this time of year,
to help someone and turn a listen ear to people who are suffering all their life
