is my imagination getting away from me

when our eyes met i felt a mutual understanding



somehow we both knew it was our moment of truth



when our fantasies collided with reality 



a shared epiphany if you will



a moment when we both knew 



that we were meant to be together 



even if it didn't make sense



even if it wasn't part of the plan 



we thought we'd found love at least 



once or twice before but then 



our paths crossed and everything changed
