Pistol Whip daydream cuts me down

Tear of blood in my eye

Don’t make me bear this thorny crown

But I die trying to keep time



Pearce my hand and make me understand

I try to do my best

But I once again can’t stand

The dream rattles again in my mind



A river runs thru my head

Like a tree on its edge

I fall and drift away

Keep me from a trip on this ledge



Who can keep me in the race

I cant see for the end is too near

Help the one who needs it

I love but cant stand the pain



Who is it I see

The shadow out weighs the light

Who will win who will lose

Whatever make no sense to me
