Every night I wonder why I know what I need to do but I don't. And I try not calling you yet I still pick up the phone and I do. Does the new one look like me? Is the new one smart? Does the new one know you'll break his heart? I get down; I get stuck there and I wish I couldn't care any less. Such a clown: Nobody smiles 'cause I'm crying on the inside - what a mess. I can't fall asleep at night without you in the bed but I can't take back everything I've said. I've washed the blood completely from my hands but still they're stained.
