chords for "pop queen" by ben lee
       contributed by joe schaeffer

hi there kids, from what i can make out of the album, ben only knows a
handful of chords (but then again so do the ramones) and these are the
ones for "pop queen", arguably the best of the 18 tracks on the album.

it's a real easy one, and since i just got the album i haven't had
time to figure out the whole solo parts. on an acoustic guitar though,
you can just pound out the chords roughly and sing along just fine.
the chords are F#, E, and B all in standard tuning.

played behind the words are as follows:
            F# E
well you're real pretty
        B
and you act like across between

you know what i mean
      F# E
it's a real pitty
          B
cause you try to be me

and you just can't fake it with me
F# E
you love the pixies
           B
you're the ultimate pop queen you know what i mean
        F#
yeah my girl
      E
is a true dream
        B B(then mute)
and i'm not gonna hate you if you're not gonna hate me
F# E B
                                        you're my pop queen
(doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo)
F# E B
                                        you're my pop queen
(doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo)

the rest of the song continues in the same progression, and if you
play along you can pick up the strumming pattern real easy. if you
have the album, you can use these chords on at least two other songs,
all you have to do is play along. and if anybody has the solo figured
out, or the chords for "my guitar", please post them or let me know
via e-mail : jschaeff@skidmore.edu thanx---enjoy
