Avril Lavigne is SUCH a role model. She proves you don't have to be a wannabe and a fake (*cough* Hilary Duff, Ashlee Simpson, etc... *cough*) Just go to a Music Award Show, throw a rock and you'll hit one!!! They're everywhere!!! *cough*) to make good music. Avril is amazing 'cause she writes her own songs unlike so many of the artists (if you call them that...) today. She can also play three instruments (guitar, drums, and piano) which totally rocks. Avril is a talented artist and I hope she keeps making albums!!!

"Under My Skin" has 12 tracks and also a bonus track. It is about an hour long (I dont have the CD on me so I cant say exactly).

Tracks:

  1. Take Me Away
  2. Toghether
  3. Don't Tell Me
  4. He Wasn't
  5. How Does It Feel
  6. My Happy Ending
  7. Nobody's Home
  8. Forgotten
  9. Who Knows
  10. Fall To Pieces
  11. Freak Out
  12. Slipped Away
  13. I Always Get What I Want (BONUS TRACK)

I loved "Let Go" so I couldn't wait for "Under My Skin" to be released. When I listened through it, in a way I thought that it wasn't as good as "Let Go" but the more I listened through it, the more I liked it.

The first song she released off it, Don't Tell Me, was good and quite unlike her previous songs. The more up-beat songs like My Happy Ending and Who Knows are quite catchy, but I think that Sk8er Boi still tops them all!

Slipped Away was wirtten for her Grandfather who died and it is one of the most emotional songs I have ever heard. The lyrics like:

"I didn't get round to kiss you
Goodbye on the hand
I wish that I could see you again
I know that I cant"

seem to show how much she misses her Grandfather and I find it really moving.

All in all this is a good album from Avril Lavigne and I think that it is fair to say this one is as good as the last. I hope she keeps it up!
