Sometimes dreams are beautiful adventures and you fly over cities in the dark
Sometimes you are sinking in an ocean and you feel the lurk of a shark
Sometimes dreams- they end too soon- so you try to will the whole thing back again
Some dreams all you do is wash the dishes but the stack on the counter never ends

Some people seem familiar the moment that you meet
That happens both in life and in dreams
And when you are together you feel like you've been seen
