After much debate the landlord said

You can stay, for four

Take good care of “The property”

And maybe you can stay four more



At the end of the day what will people say

About the state of the flag

Does it fly bright and proud all

Red, white and blue

Or is it tattered and worn from the storm

Time will tell it all to you
