Yellowcard

Ocean Avenue

Ocean Avenue Ocean Avenue is a CD that is not only about where the guys from Yellowcard grew up but also about the feelings they have kept inside. Yellowcard has found a way to put their thoughts into guitars, drums, words, and a violin! If you love Mest you'll definetly love Yellowcard, with songs like "Only One" and "Way Away" there's no way you could ever hate them. Plus with every member of the band being hot in their own little (special) way, you'll fall in love with them at first glance...don't believe me? Check them out at www.mtv.com and make sure you go to flipbooks to see picks of them. Don't want to go to MTV? That's ok go to www.yellowcardrock.com and check out their website...watch their video for "Way Away"...which is about Ryan Keys (lead singer) and his life around Ocean Avenue. I hope you enjoy them, and hope that you request them on the radio and on Fuse and MTV...if you don't then i hope you hurt yourself when you're sleeping!

I love every song on Ocean Avenue...each note has a special meaning to me and each lyric hits me like life. The first 7 songs sound like punk then after that it sounds like country but with a little hint of punk to ice the cake. I don't like country, but when you add electric guitars and fast beating drums then i guess it's alright. Just as long as Ryan K. doesn't talk about losing his girl and his truck it's ok. In their songs they mostly talk about how much they miss their friends. I'd miss my friends too if I had to leave them to go and perform for others...I would love to see my old friends again, and that's what the album does to me...it makes me think of the good times I had with all my friends. It should do the same for you too, but hey that could just be me.
