Thinking Bout Somethin is the first single by American Pop group Hanson, from their eighth studio album, titled "Shout It Out ", which will be releases on June 8, 2010 in the US through their own label 3CG Records.
The song was released on iTunes in the U.S. on April 20, 2010 as an exclusive single before the release of the album.
The video was directed by Todd Edwards, co-founder of Blue Yonder Films and was released on April 15, 2010. For the video, Hanson recreated a scene from The Blues Brothers, where soul music incited a huge impromptu crowd to dance in the streets. The band took to the streets of their hometown of Tulsa, OK, with more than 300 extras (including two of Taylor's children), 60 local dancers and hundreds of loyal fans who traveled from far and wide to participate. Weird Al Yankovic has a cameo appearance as the tambourine player.
