David Gilmour

David Jon Gilmour, known as David Gilmour, D.Mus, CBE (b. 6 March 1946) is an English musician and multi-instrumentalist, who was the guitarist, co-lead vocalist and one of the songwriters of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It is estimated that as of 2010, the group have sold over 250 million records worldwide, including 74.5 million units sold in the United States.
