The White Rockets
Dutch group The White Rockets founded 1958 in Enschede.
Members: Gerard en Ely van Tongeren, Hilco ter Heide en Freddy Stuivenberg, Wietze Oppers en Gerard Tiecke. After 1962 Gerard Tiecke, Wietze Oppers and Freddy Stuivenberg left the band and replaced by Bob Luiten (on the single), Bennie de Groot and Henny Lubben.
In 1966 the name White Rockets changes in The Buffoons and the characteristic close-harmony vocals are introduced.
