Officium Triste

Officium Triste is a doom metal band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They refer to their style often as Rotterdoom. It is largely inspired by bands like My Dying Bride and early Anathema, but the last album is slower and more melodic. The vocals are mostly intelligible death grunts but with occasional clean vocals. Their home-venue is Baroeg in Rotterdam.

Wow ,een grote verrassing dat hierop ook Officium Triste staat. Over grote namen gesproken in de doom-scene! :smiley:
Het is niet helemaal correct dat er naast MDB en O.T. Geen goede doom-bands zijn , kijk bijvoorbeeld maar naar katatonia ,shape of despair, Kthulu ftagn\' , en nog veel meer anderen. !

Officium Triste is samen met My Dying Bride (commercieel) de beste Doommetal-band die er is, echt prachtige muziek en diepgang in gebruik van instrumenten, prachtig!!!

Een van hun mooiste nummers vind ik nog wel "The sun doesn't shine anymore", maar "The Pathway of broken glass" is OOK prachtig.
Hun nieuwste CD "Reason" geeft aan dat het klopt: "Rotterdoom"!!!!
Prachtig jongens, blijf zo doorgaan!!!
